Zhang Jingli
Jianli Percussion Ensemble Chief
Central Conservatory of Music Associate Professor of Percussion, Master's Student Advisor. Graduated from Central Conservatory of Music, then studied abroad in Germany, obtaining a master's and doctoral degree respectively. He has worked at China National Symphony Orchestra and China Philharmonic Orchestra. He is the chief conductor of Jianli Percussion Ensemble, the music director of the China International Percussion Arts Festival and Competition, the music director of the Harbin Percussion Arts Festival, a judge of the Jeju Percussion Competition in South Korea, a judge of the Hong Kong International Percussion Competition, and a judge of the PAS International Percussion Competition in Italy.

He studied percussion at Central Conservatory of Music and graduated from the Art Academy of the People's Liberation Army. He is proficient in Chinese opera percussion, ethnic percussion and classical percussion, and belongs to the Jianli Percussion Ensemble "diverse" talents. His performances have been held throughout Europe and Asia, including performances in the Golden Hall in Vienna and collaborations with the Dutch New Music Chamber Orchestra. He speaks softly but with wisdom and power, and he smiles calmly but has a vast and boundless heart.

A famous Chinese jazz drummer, Jianli Percussion Ensemble drummer, executive director of the IPEA Association, vice president and judge of the Drum Players' Union, spokesperson for Meipais, Zhiyin Jiao Film, and Hanpai drumsticks, and one of the solid, technically comprehensive, and theoretically systematic jazz drummers in China. He serves as an expert judge for many percussion competitions across the country and conducts master classes in many regions.

He studied percussion under the guidance of Wang Yidong, a percussion professor at the China Conservatory of Music, Jiao Shanshanlin, a percussion professor at the China Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School, and Li Zhengui, a percussion professor at Central Conservatory of Music. He also studied percussion under Fang Guokai, a percussionist and percussion educator of the former China National Symphony Orchestra. He served as a percussion performer for the Beijing Wind Symphony Orchestra and arranged and performed percussion sections in the musicals "Wang Er's Long March" and "Xiaokuan" at the Sanbao Music Studio, touring more than 100 times with the productions. He is currently a special invited percussion performer for the Beijing Jianli Percussion Ensemble, China Philharmonic Orchestra, National Centre for the Performing Arts symphony orchestras, the Central Ballet Company and other institutions.

In 2007, she was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music affiliated primary school with the first grade score. In 2009, she continued to be admitted to Central Conservatory of Music affiliated middle school with the major of Western percussion. During her time in school, she performed works on behalf of the school at many major music festivals. She served as the percussion chief of the China Youth Brass Band and was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music orchestral department with the first-place score in 2015. She is now engaged in orchestra performance and music education industry, and has performed with major orchestras in China many times across the country. Her strong professional ability, passionate and flamboyant stage performance has been unanimously recognized and praised by the audience.

During his time in school, he performed excellently and won scholarships many times. He participated in the China Youth Symphony Orchestra as the percussion chief and performed with the orchestra. In 2018, he participated in the China National Symphony Orchestra "Branca Poem" percussion performance at the Beijing Concert Hall, and won the second prize in the Marimba youth group at the "2015 Jianli Percussion Artist and the 6th China International Percussion Competition".

He studied under Professor Zhao Ji, a famous percussion performer and educator in China. In 2011, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music affiliated middle school with the first-place score in his major. In 2012, he studied under percussion performer and Central Conservatory of Music Zhang Jingli associate professor until now. In 2012, he won the first prize in the youth group of the China International Percussion Competition and Jianli Percussion art festival in the fourth edition, and then joined Jianli Percussion Ensemble. In 2015, he won the first prize in the youth group of the sixth China International Percussion Competition Marimba professional, and performed on stage with Marimba master Bogdan Bacanu and received praise. In 2016, he was invited to the United States to participate in 'The Masterworks Festival'. In October of the same year, he won the first prize in Group C of the Hong Kong International Percussion Competition Snare Drum and the second prize in Group C of Marimba. In 2017, he completed his studies at the Central Conservatory of Music affiliated middle school with a perfect score in his major and was admitted to the orchestral department of Central Conservatory of Music with an excellent score of first place. In 2017, he won the first prize in the 15th Italian International Competition Marimba youth group. In 2018, he won the first prize in the fifth Australian Marimba open competition. In the same year, he won the first prize in the first Zhao Ji Percussion Scholarship of Central Conservatory of Music, and won the Central Conservatory of Music BOB (Best Of the Best) scholarship with his tenacious and hard-working spirit of practicing the piano day and night, becoming the first percussion talent to win this scholarship.

He began learning percussion at the age of 5, was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music affiliated primary school in 2008, and has been studying under Central Conservatory of Music associate professor Zhang Jingli since 2012. During his time at the affiliated middle school, he joined the China Youth Symphony Orchestra and served as the principal of Timpani. He participated in many school alumni art festival concerts and collaborated with many musicians, including Lang Lang and Lv Sicheng. In 2016, he followed the orchestra on a European tour. In 2017, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music undergraduate school with excellent results. During his time at school, he collaborated with China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra many times. In 2015, he won the first place in the sixth China International Percussion Competition Snare Drum youth group and the third place in the Marimba group. In 2014, he participated in the 32nd Macau Youth Music Competition and won the first prize in the Intermediate Professional Group for percussion solo and the first prize in the Marimba group. In October of the same year, he participated in the 6th South China Region Orchestra • Percussion Solo • Ensemble Invitation Competition in China and won the second prize in the Professional High School Group for Snare Drum and the second prize in the Marimba group. In November, he participated in the International Percussion Youth Competition in Belgium and won the second prize in percussion. Wang Shubo Studied under the famous percussion educationist Professor Zhao Ji in 2012. In 2013, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music Middle School with excellent results. Since 2014, he has been studying under Professor Zhang Jingli, an associate professor of the orchestral department of Central Conservatory of Music, until now. In 2015, he performed on stage with Alejandro, the percussion tutor of Wei Ma Liszt Conservatory of Music. In 2016, he participated in the China Youth Symphony Orchestra. From 2017 to 2018, he toured many cities and regions in China with Jianli Percussion Ensemble many times. In 2018, he held a national solo concert tour. Over the years, he has studied hard in his major, been active in many famous art festivals across the country, and has been highly praised by many experts and scholars, receiving countless praises wherever he goes.

Yang Yikuo has been learning percussion music under the influence of his father since childhood. In 2015, he followed Professor Zhao Ji to learn percussion music. In 2017, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music Middle School with the first place in the major. He studied under Associate Professor Zhang Jingli. He won the second prize in Group B of the First International Percussion Music Competition Marimba in Hong Kong. In 2019, he won the second place in the junior category of the Lipinski China-Europe International Marimba Competition.
Zhao Qian

Zhao Qian, born in 2002, entered the first grade of Central Conservatory of Music affiliated middle and high school in 2018. He followed Professor Zhang Jingli to learn percussion. After entering the school, he joined the Youth Symphony Orchestra. He once participated in the 10th anniversary celebration performance of the Macau Academy of Performing Arts and the 60th anniversary performance of the Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Han Mingliang is currently in the third grade of the junior high school of Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School. He was born in Anyang, Henan Province in 2006. In 2017, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School with the first place in his major. He has been studying Western percussion under the guidance of the famous percussion musician, Central Conservatory of Music Zhang Jingli associate professor. In July 2019, he won the first prize in the Marimba international competition of the China-Europe International Cultural and Art Festival in Poland. In September of the same year, he participated in the 60th anniversary performance of the Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School Youth Symphony Orchestra and won the third prize in Group A of the 17th Italian International Percussion Competition Marimba in September of the same year.
