Jianli Scholarship

"Zhao Ji Percussion Scholarship" was established in Central Conservatory of Music in 2017. According to the wishes of Mr. Zhao Ji, his family donated 500,000 yuan of his manuscript fee to his alma mater Central Conservatory of Music. In order to do this, the Central Conservatory of Music Education Foundation hereby established the "Zhao Ji Percussion Scholarship" project, which is the first special scholarship for Western percussion in China. The scholarship will be used to reward the top student in the Western percussion major of Central Conservatory of Music in the final examination of each academic year, one undergraduate (including graduate students) and one junior high school student, with a prize of 10,000 yuan per person. The establishment of this scholarship provides support for excellent students in the percussion major and encourages them to participate more in domestic and international competitions, broaden their horizons, improve their professional level, achieve better results, and promote the development of Western percussion education in China.
