The famous percussion musician Zhang Jingli was invited by the Qingdao Symphony Orchestra to participate in this special concert for musicians of the "Golden Flower Famous Songs" to celebrate the March 8 Women's Day held in the Music Hall of the Qingdao Grand Theater. Zhang Jingli will perform the Chinese-style percussion famous song - Chen Yi's "Percussion Concerto". She will bring a percussion feast to the audience of Qingdao with her passionate and delicate performance style. Zhang Jingli, a famous percussion musician and Central Conservatory of Music associate professor of percussion. He graduated from Central Conservatory of Music, then studied abroad in Germany and obtained master's and doctoral degrees respectively. He has worked at China National Symphony Orchestra and China Philharmonic Orchestra, served as a master's advisor for students at the Chinese Academy of Music, chief conductor of Jianli Percussion Ensemble, music director of China International Percussion Competition, judge of the Jeju Percussion Competition in South Korea and judge of the Hong Kong International Percussion Competition. In recent years, Zhang Jingli has widely expanded the activities of Jianli Percussion Ensemble to perform with world peers, which not only promotes friendly relations between professional percussion orchestras, but also allows the world to understand the rapid development of Chinese percussion, making great contributions to percussion and promoting its status in the field of music in China and internationally.
Zhu Man, currently the permanent conductor of China National Opera House is known as one of the vibrant young conductors in China today. She studied under Professor Yu Feng, a famous Chinese conductor, the president of Central Conservatory of Music and the chairman of the Chinese Conductors Association. She has cooperated with many symphony orchestras at home and abroad, including: the London Symphony Orchestra of the United Kingdom, the Beizhang Symphony Orchestra of France, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra of Canada, the Melbourne Opera House, the Rome Symphony Orchestra, the Samsun Opera House of Turkey, China Philharmonic Orchestra and many others, and has staged many world premiere works by Chinese and foreign composers.
With the direct support of the Qingdao Municipal Government, the Qingdao Symphony Orchestra was reorganized in 2005. The current artistic director is Mr. Zhang Guoyong, a famous conductor, and the chief violinist is Ms. Liu Yuxia. The Qingdao Symphony Orchestra has the development concept of "promoting the city's image and benefiting the citizens" and the goal of "creating a first-class city orchestra". It respects the laws of art, firmly adheres to the path of professionalization, has launched music season performances for ten consecutive years, and has had successful cooperation with many internationally renowned musicians. After more than ten years of continuous development, it has become one of China's excellent professional orchestras.
