Xu Dongliang-ADAMS signed artist
He is a teacher of percussion major in the Department of Orchestration of China Conservatory of Music, a member of the International Percussion Education Association (IPEA), and a signed artist of Freer Percussion. He graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2010 and from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in the United States in 2013 with a master's degree. He has studied under Zhao Ji, Yang Ruwen, Xue Baoren, and Robert van Sice.
As an active performer, he has cooperated with many percussion orchestras and chamber orchestras for performances and recordings, and has participated in performances of many music festivals as a soloist, such as the Beijing Modern Music Festival, Jianli Percussion Art Festival, IPEA International Percussion Arts Festival, etc.
He began teaching at the China Conservatory of Music in 2014. After teaching, he went to Central Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Xi'an Conservatory of Music, Xinghai Conservatory of Music and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music for exchanges and performances. In addition to teaching and performing, he also served as a judge for Jianli International Percussion Arts Festival, IPEA International Percussion Competition, Hummingbird Music Award and other competitions.
