He is a teacher of Western percussion major in the Department of Orchestra of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. He graduated from the Karlsruhe Conservatory of Music in Germany with a master's degree in Western percussion performance.
In 2000, he was admitted to Central Conservatory of Music Middle School with the first place. He studied Western percussion music under the guidance of Professor Zhao Ji, a famous Western percussion music educator. In 2008, he was admitted to the University of Music and Performing Arts of East Bruckner in Austria, and in 2014, he was admitted to the University of Music Karlsruhe in Germany to continue his further studies.
During his stay in Europe, he was invited to attend the concert of the famous composer Wolfgang Rihm; he was invited to participate in the performances of the brass ensemble Brass Surround in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other countries, and recorded the CD "BrassSurround 10.3" in 2016; from 2015 to 2016, he was a guest of the German National Stuttgart Opera Orchestra and the German Rheinland-Palatinate State Symphony Orchestra.
